Feelings....

Feelings you have when your child has cancer:

Sadness

Anger

Defeat

Hope

Courage

Distress

Frustration

Love

Compassion

Contempt

Joy

Pain

Questions you ask when your child has cancer:

Why her?

When will it end?

Why now?

What will happen?

What choice is best?

How could this happen?

Will she be ok?

  1. Blessed. I feel blessed. Because I know what a gift she is and I keep that in my mind always knowing it could all be gone. Every smile is a gift I cherish and fear to lose.
Unfair. Unprepared. We were responsible and totally prepared for a baby. We were not prepared for this.
My heart is with you. While Saoirse gets her MIBG Thurs my girl will get her scan done too, this time will be ultrasound, next an MIBG/MRI. I'll be thinking of you.

  3. My son was born with Down syndrome and I thought that was life altering and challenging but nothing can compare to what your little one is going thru. Life's lessons are TOUGH and often require us to become super human. I read your blog and I weep. My heart weighs heavy for Saoirse.
    I pray, sending healing energy.

  4. Your situation weighs heavy on my heart. One family should not have to shoulder so much suffering. I can't fathom the fear, the pain, and the worry you endure. You are strong and an inspiration. I am sure your daughter takes strength and comfort from your positive energy that you radiate despite a cloud of darkness. Know a family in AZ thinks of you often and is praying for a healing.
