Giving Tuesday!

It's Giving Tuesday! In the wake of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, today is a day to give back to the community and remember what this season is truly about - GIVING! 

So choose your favorite charity or cause and donate a little or a lot or just your time. 

The Fitzgerald Cancer Fund is taking the funds collected today and using them to purchase gas gift cards for families with a child in treatment for neuroblastoma. Last year we raised $500, let's see if we can beat that this year!

Calling All ........... well just ALL!

The first annual Arts and Artifacts Auction is here! It started on Tuesday (sorry, I'm late with this post on here), and goes through Saturday December 8th (until 11:45pm eastern time). This is a great opportunity to give back while doing some holiday shopping this year. There is something for everyone, so take a look, set up your account, and START BIDDING! And remember - we are a 501c3 public charity, so all of your donations will be tax deductible! All items were generously donated to us, so 100% of the proceeds will be going toward our Parent Grant Program, which financially helps families with a child battling Neuroblastoma. Our goal is to raise $5000 - which would help so many families in 2013! Let's make this goal a reality! Share with your friends, and start bidding!

Calling All People with Cool Stuff!

We are putting together our first annual auction to benefit the Fitzgerald Cancer Fund. I'm really excited about it for a couple of reasons. One, we have been collecting these items for almost a year now, and i'm pretty done with them taking up space in my house. But more importantly, I can't wait to see what other items we get from our lovely followers and supporters, and how much we can raise to help Kids with Neuroblastoma! 

I have been starting to catalogue all the items, and there are some great things in the group already. Art, antiques, handmade gifts, collectables... well, I can't spoil the surprise, now can I. There will be some great items for holiday gifts, so save some of your holiday shopping dollars to help a great cause! And, you can take a tax deduction for your donation! Not bad for spreading some holiday cheer.

Calling all Artists, Collectors, Antique Lovers, and Friends! We are planning an Auction to benefit the Fitzgerald Cancer Fund! 

We have started collecting donations for our first annual Arts and Artifacts Auction which will be held online between Thanksgiving and Christmas (exact dates TBA). We need more items to make this auction a big success! Here are some of the things we are looking for...

2D and 3D Art Pieces (eg: paintings, photos, sculptures)

Sports Collectables/Memorabilia (eg: signed shirts, photos, balls)

Small Collectable Items and Antique Pieces (eg: glass, cameras, collector plates, old toys)

Handmade Gifts/Practical Items (eg: knit items, bags, blankets, toys, quilts)

These items will be shipped to the winners, so please keep to manageable sizes and weights if possible. If you have something you would like to donate, please contact us at info@fitzgeraldcancerfund.org.  We will need to receive the items by November 21st. Don't limit yourself to the list above - Be Creative!
